Sailing Vessel TAILWIND

Play With A Purpose

Wildpreneurship takes many forms. At the Tailwind Jungle Lodge, the wind is blowing us into new territory with our 47 ft Olympic ketch. Sailing vessel TAILWIND will combine adventure with awareness around marine and coastal conservation issues.

Mission: To embody and educate about the ways we can minimize our impact on the places where we love to play and explore. Trigger individual action locally that creates waves of positive change globally.

Purpose: Sailing vessel TAILWIND will be a non-profit branch of the Tailwind Jungle Lodge. This structure will allow us to seek grants and donations, that will help fund our desire to provide opportunities for school kids and to conduct scientific research on the Mexican Pacific Ocean.

Adventure (Play!): By special request, we will be offering tours for small groups, families, couples, and others, seeking anything from a casual whale tour, to a multi-day cruise which could also include snorkeling, diving, surfing, paddleboarding, turtles, bird watching and much more. All tours include an educational/awareness component and a monetary portion of each trip will go towards helping to fund our kids and science programs.

Focus/Programs: Each trip will combine various degrees of education and adventure with conservation measures and actionable steps. Focus will be customized to suit client needs/requests. Specialists, scientists, and adventure guru's will be invited aboard to take the experience to a higher level!
