Describe your perfect day as a Wildpreneur.
The perfect day is that one when I wake early, walk the dog, do Yoga and meditate, have breakfast with the family and accomplish something for the business.
Tell us about your wild business! What was your inspiration to create Experience Retreats?
The business started after a failed attempt with a business partner to create a stylish villa rental site and when we parted ways, my wife Susie and her Yoga gave me the inspiration to get into the niche and create the collection of authentic retreat venues which would offer a solution to those looking to find a place with authenticity and soul.
What do you wish you’d known prior to getting started as a Wildpreneur?
I wish I had started doing Yoga earlier which would have given me the answer to the path we are now.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering turning their passion into a business?
I would say that once you find the business model that fits your passion, persist until you achieve your goal no matter what, one goal at a time and always reviewing for necessary adjustments.
Do you have a favorite motivational quote?
Learn, work smart and persist.
Anything else you’d like to share about your journey?
We have been slowly and organically growing our business to offer a differentiator to those creatives that have realized their dreamed creation, always sticking to the principles of it in order to achieve recognition and succeed. As any business, stress if part of it but with a clear goal in mind, honesty and good intentions we are moving forward.
What are you working on right now?
We are trying to enlarge our portfolio and database of retreat leaders to keep offering a great service to those that trust us.
