We were roommates during senior year at Middlebury College. Carolyn spent countless hours on her Watson fellowship (which took her around the world!) while I composed the business plan for the Tailwind Jungle Lodge. Carolyn patiently listened as I grappled with my fork in the road—would I head to Wall Street or the jungle? Carolyn’s free-spirit and friendship prompted me to listen to my heart and chase my dream business.
